What Areas do you Service?
First Green can service any facility within 80 miles of Cincinnati. We have clients in Cincinnati, Northern Kentucky, Mason, West Chester, Kettering, Dayton, Lawrenceburg and more!
Is First Green Building Services a Franchise?
No! First Green is locally owned and operated by 2nd Generation owner, Matt Lyons. Not being a franchise means zero franchise fees and lower costs to you the client! Some national janitorial franchises charge upwards of 10% of sales to the local franchisee. This means the local franchisee either needs to charge 10% more or take shortcuts to get their price down.
Is First Green Building Services Insured?
Yes! First Green carries General Liability of $2,000,000, Auto Liability of $1,000,000 and has a $5,000,000 Umbrella Policy. First Green also carries all mandatory Workers Compensation Insurance. A copy of our Certificate of Insurance can be sent to you by calling (859) 292-8556 or by e-mailing us at email@example.com.
Will the Cleaners of My Office Be First Green Employees or Sub-Contractors?
All First Green cleaners are employees, not subcontractors. This also means that they are covered by First Green’s liability and workers compensation insurance. This also allows First Green to manage their cleaners.
When janitorial companies use sub-contractors to clean, the sub-contractors are responsible for providing their own insurance. If they do not, your company could be at risk if the sub-contractor injures themselves or damages any property.
Also, per IRS rules, to maintain a sub-contractor relationship, sub-contractors are not allowed to be managed, or they are considered employees.
Will My Cleaners Speak English?
Yes, all First Green Building Services cleaners speak English, making it very easy for our clients to communicate with the cleaner(s) in their facility.
What Happens If My Scheduled Cleaner is Sick?
All First Green cleaners have an area manager who is responsible for covering any missed shifts. If your regularly scheduled cleaner is sick, there will be no disruption of service.
