Yes! First Green carries General Liability of $2,000,000, Auto Liability of $1,000,000 and has a $5,000,000 Umbrella Policy. First Green also carries all mandatory Workers Compensation Insurance. All First Green cleaners are employees, not subcontractors. This also means that they are covered by First Green’s liability and workers compensation insurance. This also allows First Green to manage their cleaners.

When janitorial companies use sub-contractors to clean, the sub-contractors are responsible for providing their own insurance. If they do not, your company could be at risk if the sub-contractor injures themselves or damages any property.

Also, per IRS rules, to maintain a sub-contractor relationship, sub-contractors are not allowed to be managed, or they are considered employees.

All First Green cleaners have an area manager who is responsible for covering any missed shifts. If your regularly scheduled cleaner is sick, there will be no disruption of service.
